GO TEAM GO!!!
I don't know exactly how many people watch the Superbowl each year, but I do know that it's a lot. From the adrenaline and testosterone amped crowds gathered around the big screen, to the people that are only watching because there's not really anything else on television, to the people that pay top dollar to be on the sideline come game day. In America, this game is a BIG DEAL. So big, that a reported 98.9 Million dollars was placed in bets for this game, in Nevada alone. (And then, we Americans wanna act like we don't know why the country is going broke -_- )
I didn't watch the game. I honestly had no interest. My team of choice was knocked out of the running early after we lost two of our top players, then my secondary choice went out as well, and I just ceased to care. I caught glimpses here and there as my mother flipped between channels to keep up with the score, and I tuned in long enough to watch the half time show. As I watched the half time show, I was sadly disappointed, and returned to the solace of my room.
In the end, The Ravens beat the 49er's in an almost too close for comfort victory of
34-31.
Congrats, Ravens.
